Junior Loans Officer/Loans Officer - Manukau

This full-time position is with MoneyShop, one of New Zealand’s leading personal loan companies. We are a family-owned business which opened in 1993 and believe we deliver the best service, with the friendliest people you will find! We provide our customers with quick and easy finance options that work for them.

An opportunity exists at our Manukau branch for an enthusiastic team player to take on the role of Junior Loans Officer or Loans Officer. Our office hours are 8.30 am-5.00 pm Monday to Friday.

You will need to have a great personality and enjoy working with a variety of different people. Working closely within a team, you will need to be helpful and customer-focused, have excellent communication skills with the ability to think laterally.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Drivers licence (restricted/full)
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to help and go the extra mile
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate with a wide range of people
  • Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated and show initiative
  • Good decision-making processes
  • Reliable
  • Prepared to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Promote our services and products
  • High level of numeracy and great phone manner
  • Have good written and verbal English skills

An ability to work effectively face to face with the client, with attention to detail is essential. Your role will be to greet our clients, process and approve the loan and ensure that it is completed correctly. You need to be able to work effectively with attention to detail is essential.

Being multi-lingual is an advantage as well as any experience in the finance industry.
